QUEENSLAND ENERGY DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE 2024

The 2nd Annual Queensland Energy Development Conference is the key networking forum for Queensland’s energy industry.

Back in September 2022, Queensland Government launched the Energy and Jobs Plan, a complex energy program aiming to produce 80 per cent of Queensland’s power from renewable sources by 2035, and funding several clean energy projects across the State, including the world’s largest pumped hydro storage.

The rollout of renewables has been held up by delays in planning, transmission and connection and commissioning, so what is the state of play after 12 months since the announcement of the plan? This event will cover what has been achieved so far, what are the progress to date of the major projects and has the Government started to deliver on the promised infrastructure and jobs.
