How do I enroll in InEight U?
Enrollment is simple and typically self-directed. To get started, visit https://university.ineight.com and select Register to complete the initial registration. Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email that enables you to sign in and begin enrolling in courses that match your learning goals.

What’s the difference between a course and certificate?
Both courses and certificates in InEight U are aligned with specific InEight products, such as Estimate or Document.
- A course is a single, focused unit of learning that covers a specific topic or skill related to that product. It’s designed to help you build targeted knowledge in a manageable format.
- A certificate is a structured learning program made up of multiple related courses. Together, these courses provide a comprehensive understanding of a broader subject area within the same product. Successfully completing all required courses and quizzes within the program earns you a certificate of completion.
How do I track my progress in InEight U?
Once you’re enrolled in a course, your progress is automatically tracked. You can view your completion status, quiz results, and certificates earned by navigating to the My Activities page within InEight U. This helps you stay on top of your learning goals and revisit any incomplete modules.
Can I retake a course or quiz in InEight U?
Yes! Most courses and quizzes in InEight U can be retaken as often as needed. This is especially helpful if you want to reinforce your understanding or improve your quiz score. Simply return to the course from the Home Page and select the course you’d like to revisit.
However, please note that some courses are locked until you successfully complete the quizzes in prerequisite courses. This ensures that learners build foundational knowledge before progressing to more advanced topics. Once you’ve passed the required quiz, the next course will automatically unlock and become available for you to begin.
Will I receive a certificate after completing a course?
Courses that are part of a certificate program will award a certificate upon successful completion of all required courses and quizzes. You can download and share your certificate directly from the My Transcript page.
When a certificate is available, on the My Transcript page, the word “Available” will appear in the Certificates column next to the completed course. This term becomes a clickable hyperlink, allowing you to instantly download your certificate in PDF format. This makes it easy to save, print, or share your achievement.
Please note that standalone courses do not offer certificates, but they still contribute to your overall learning record and help track your progress within InEight U.
